
Registration Services
1. PAN/TAN Registrations
It is mandatory for all the citizens of India and all the business structures incorporated in India by way of Partnership, LLP, Companies, Trust, societies, AOP, BOI and artificial or judicial person to register for pan under the Income tax Act 1961.
TAN is a Tax account number applicable for business having payments exceeding the threshold as stipulated and regulated by income tax Act 1961, in such case TAN number to be applied and obtained from Income tax department.
2. Goods and Service Tax Registration (GST)
Goods and Service Tax introduced in the year 2017 effective from 1st July 2017 is an indirect tax where in all the business carried on either in goods or service crossing the threshold turnover should mandatorily get registered for Goods and Services Tax. Most of the business are covered under GST ambit.
3. Shops and Establishment Registration
To ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.Both shop and commercial establishment are defined under The Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1961 and registration under this Act is mandatory for businesses in Karnataka
4. Udyog Aadhaar Registration ( MSME)
Micro, small, medium enterprises is a central government initiative to support MSME Enterprises, Who can get themselves registered under MSME Udyam aadhaar having the benefits of priority sector lending from banks and also avail benefits under credit guarantee scheme, public procurement policy, additional edge in government Tenders & Protection against delayed payments etc.
5. Import & Export Registration (IEC)
Business involving import and export transactions has to mandatorily register under IEC (Import & Export code) issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) having benefits International market access, incentives from government under various schemes, Banking transactions on multiple currencies and so on.
6. Professional Tax Enrollment Registration (EC)
KTPTC and E Act 1976 mandates the business in Karnataka to register under enrollment certificate for annual professional tax payment. All business, shops and commercial establishments in Karnataka needs to get themselves registered under professional tax through enrollment certificate or by GST number and renew their registration year on year till business exist.
7. Professional Tax Registration (RC)
KTPTC & E ACT 1976 Mandates employer of business in karnataka to deduct and remit monthly professional tax for their employees if the salary paid to them exceeds threshold limit as stipulated by the KTPTC & E Act from time to time, Business having employees with salary payment needs to get registered under Professional tax RC.
8. Provident Fund Registration (EPF)
Business having number of employees crossing 20 or more as stipulated by Employees provident funds and Miscellaneous provisions Act, 1952 mandates for registration under Employee’s provident Fund organization (EPFO) governed by central and state government and Employer can also opt for voluntary registration under this scheme. It gives employees retirement benefits.
9. Employee State Insurances Registration(ESI)
Business entities having number of employees crossing 10 or more as mandated by the government to get registered under ESIC to assist and promote health and medical facility of the workers and laborers at organization. It is compulsory for the organizations having threshold numbers for registration.
